United Nations Global Compact

Fingerprints joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2016. Fingerprints is committed to working with the responsibilities relating to the UN Global Compacts’ ten principles within human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. The company reported for the first time this year on the progress by summiting the Communication on Progress Report.

Fingerprints has taken the first steps to address the Sustainable Development Goals and work on this will continue and further be formalized.

Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition

In 2017, Fingerprints become as the first biometrics company, an Affiliate Member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (“The EICC”). Fingerprints support the EICC Code of Business Conduct and the work EICC is doing. The company also ask all direct suppliers to sign the EICC Code of Conduct prior to joining Fingerprints supplier base.

Fingerprints see the EICC as an important organization that facilitates collaboration and knowledge sharing around the common social, environmental and ethical challenges and responsibilities Fingerprints share with companies directly or indirectly apart of the electronic industry. Many of Fingerprints’ customers and suppliers are already members. As member of EICC Fingerprints is in the process of implementing EICC’s Validated Assessment Process (“VAP”).
